SentriNET Thin Client
Thin Client for SentriNET enables any SentriNET-enabled server
running either Microsoft Terminal Services or Citrix Metaframe to
incorporate a biometric logon policy with a thin client user base.
When the server receives a thin client logon request, it will open
a standard thin client session. SentriNET will detect when this
session has been opened and will create a logon session within the
thin client session. Within this logon session, SentriNET will forward
the GINA to the client, where the user enters their individual user
ID and password. This logon information is then passed through to
the SNAPI via the RDP / ICA connection.
SentriNET for Thin Client operates on the same principles as a
standard non-thin client SentriNET biometric solution. The fundamental
difference is that a thin client BSP connects directly to the server-side
SNAPI over an RDP link rather than to the local SNAPI.
